The LivLyme Foundation was founded in 2017 by Olivia and her family.
Meet Olivia Goodreau, an extraordinary young woman who was knocked down by Lyme disease at age 6 and has been fighting her way back ever since. Olivia’s story is all too familiar – one filled with debilitating symptoms and dozens of doctors, misdiagnoses, and ineffective treatments.
But Olivia was determined to get better, and also to help other children with Lyme find the treatment and support they need. So at age 12, she founded the LivLyme Foundation, a nonprofit organization with three primary goals:
- Providing financial assistance to families of children suffering from Lyme
- Funding research on a cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases
- Spreading education and awareness about Lyme globally
