Potent antioxidants and other chemical compounds in FMPB inhibit platelet aggregation (blood thinner), reduce vascular inflammation, and improve the integrity of blood vessels. This improves blood flow to tissues — optimal blood flow is essential for recovering from any chronic illness.

Potent anti-inflammatory properties also extend to offer protection for joints and ligaments. FMPB is also beneficial for the immune system. Pycnogenol is the most studied brand of FMPM, but any brand provides the same properties.

Suggested dosage: 50-100 mg daily.

Side effects: Rare. Low potential for toxicity.
